Everything You Want To Know About Your Thyroid
The health and function or malfunction of your thyroid can affect you in many ways you are not likely to think about. If you are tired, more than you think you should be, gaining weight, dry skin, cold insensitivity, or if you are sick more often then you believe you should be, then think low thyroid. In this lecture we will talk about your thyroid, what happens when it doesn’t work correctly, when it produces too much thyroid hormone (hyperthyroidism) and what happens when it produces too little thyroid hormone, low thyroid (hypothyroidism). How your thyroid’s health can affect your life, what to do about it, how to manage it, and the advantage and disadvantages of taking thyroid replacement.
